Yesterday evening a group of thirty watch collector friends gathered to celebrate over good food - the Chinese Lunar New Year at a small but wonderful restaurant called "Restaurant Ten" in Singapore. Quite a few of the collectors came with watches on both wrist while others brought a case but most will have only one on their wrists.
On my request for those who own a Port Jubilee, I was utter amazed that there are five - three rose gold and two steel versions.
Then when I requested to have all the Portugueses - these turn up on the table...
This is the sum total of all the watches at the celebrations. All of us at the dinner took a long time to inspect and asked questions of these pieces while they lay on the table. Such great fun to see them and to learn about owner experiences.
Thanks Argiris! :-) Indeed the food was outstanding. Very original chinese cuisine with herbal soups as being the house speciality. I would recommend it hightly for anyone here in Singapore or even those visiting. I would have shared images of the food that evening but unfortunately, I am not one who photographs food for watch reports. I am usually too engrossed at eating, having conversations or playing with the watches! LOL...

What a great way to spend an evening. I am in awe of the amazing array of IWC watches on that table...especially the Jubilee lineup. Thanks for sharing photos of this collector's gathering...and Happy New Year to our friends in Singapore!
Best regards, Jim

Thank you Harry, your pictures are a joy for the eyes and it's not just about the jubilees, my first instinct was I wanted to dive into that sea made of Portuguese watches!
The pw black dial is marvelous, is it a ref. 5000 platinum at the bottom of last picture?

Harry, indeed a great happening when 5 of those come together! A great gathering of watches, and I was pleased to see that IWC seemed to be the pack leader there!
