Dear friends,
for one more time it's been proven that I'm IWC virus positive!! This is my new acquisition. Finally, IMHO grey subdial gives a casual tone to this dressy watch Don't you thing?? It will be one of my favourites!!
Bill, Nad, sorry for the bad quality photos ...keep trying for the best!! ;-)

Certainly a very nice watch. Congratulations ! I was planning to buy the same one a month ago but the AD did not have it and to my surprise I left the shop with an Aquatimer Galapagos instead .... Yes I know it's not the same type of watch at all. Nevertheless I really like the 5454-05 and I prefer the grey subdial to the new one with white subdial show recently in another post.

Dimitris, the thing about this Virus, is the speed at which it can strike, and how viral it is! Indeed, probably smitten by it already some weeks ago, you showed no symptoms - then, suddenly after a short incubation period (or possibly a long one - with little signs) it's there!
I'm most pleased it struck you - and it certainly looks great on the wrist and is a fantastic asset to your collection. Wear it in good health, and know now that it's true what they say " this man is dangerous...." can you complete the saying :~)

Beautiful acquisition and you indeed have contracted the IWC uhren-virus. No need to apologize for the pictures, they tell the story of your passion. I did a wee bit of WB adjustment to get closer to the true dial colors. It's the best I could do. Hope you don't mind the intrusion on your photograph.
