I'm not sure what your point is about the blue Big Pilot but I don't think that anyone here on the Forum is going to buy a watch just because they believe someone telling them that the watch is hard to get.
In fact, I'm still considering getting one after I have the chance to see one in real life and I'm hoping to travel to the mainland in a few months over the Easter break to take a look.
As another example, the last two times I visited the Boutique the salesmen told me that the Da Vinci models were really hard to get but that provided no inducement to make me purchase one of them since I have other IWC watches on my wish list.
In any event, thanks for the information. I may have a blue BP in a few months if I'm lucky in Las Vegas!

I love any thread that "talks" about the LA edition Big Pilot...especially when induces the proud owners to post photos. This is one of my favorite LE's and I never get tired seeing the scans!
