I had been traveling in China and HK in mid-January and made plans to fly to GVA from HKG!
I flew Royal Jordanian to Amman with a connection to Zurich:
Arrived Amman in the early morning and got to see the sunrise:
The Royal crown Lounge at Amman airport!
I had to stay awake so that I don't miss my connecting flight, LOL!!!!!
These two guys made me laugh, both should have been working but were texting with their girlfriends......Really!!!! I actually showed them the photo and asked them what they were doing, LOLOL!!!!!!
Time to go!!!!!!!!!!!
Yummy, a nice typical appetizer plate!
Approaching Zurich:
That same evening I had made plans to meet up with some local collectors (you know these guys, LOL!!)
L to R - Andrew, Stefan (aka Barge), and David!!!!
The next morning I had an early train to Lausanne for a meeting.
Even the Starbucks was still closed, LOL!
Finally open for business and I have my eye-opening coffee, LOL!
Arriving at the Olympic Museum in Lausanne:
A quick visit to the IWC Boutique in Geneva before the big IWC Gala.
I still had not decided on which of these watches to get, so I walked away without either one!
On the train to the Gala and zoom shot, but too much hand-shake:

The enchanted evening was meant to take you back to the glamor of Portofino!!!!!

With some new friends that sat at our table (or maybe we sat at their table????!!! LOL)
Here we are "hamming it up" in front of the camera and the IWC billboard!!!!!!
That's all for now, but stay tuned for the IWC booth visit the following day and the introduction of the new Portofino watches!

Outstanding coverage of the wonderful time we had together, you, Alan, MF and me, at the special IWC evening and the SIHH show itself. This Forum and the special events that sometimes happen for us makes this a very special place in my life.
