You either need to wait almost 15 months or send the watch to IWC to have them reset it. The good news is that all date functions are coordinated and are set via the crown; the bad news is that users can't set them backwards themselves.

As MF stated, not much more that 'you' can do, except you might also consider sending it to service to get it 'synced' with the current date/year!
