Hi ,
I was thinking of changing strap on my 3717 and would like to what creative solutions some of you have gone for - would appreciate pics and specific details if you have them ie.IWC strap part numbers if possible (if applicable).
So far I have come up with the Brown Buffalo strap form the St.Exupery .

Leather straps are beautiful, but in hot weather are not so good as metal ones. So, I will buy a steel strap for my UTC Pilot for using during the hot months of the year and in that way, last longer the leather strap.

I have posted these before, but not in a while, and since you asked......
None of these happened to be IWC straps, as I bought and always wore the watch on a bracelet. As Mike says, any 21x18 strap will fit.
An aftermarket strap - Rios if I recall
This was a Zenith strap
An aftermarket strap from Aaron Tan. If I remember correctly, Norbert admired this one so I gave it to him. It did have a nice vintage look to it.
The famous Bros Dakota. I never figured out why they discontinued this one. It was soooo popular.
And finally, a Sinn.

but also on a kevlar one like the Top gun one...
In my humble opinion the 3717 is one of the most versatile watches on the IWC collection... (in terms of straps at least)..
For an after-market non-iwc one i cant recommend this seller enough. Great quality for price...
