I was lucky enough to be invited to Schaffhausen by our local brand manager. Unfortunately it was not allowed to make any photos inside of the house, but with exception for current collection including new Portofinos. Thanks a lot to IWC staff for a perfect organization of the visit, it was really perfect experience.

Thanks for the tour pictures. You are spot on with the comment that a visit to the IWC factory and museum is a "really perfect experience". I have learned something new on each visit. Seeing the current models is always a highlight of the visit.

The factory tour is a must. But the best part is when you get to handle all the new and current collection. Your picture of the watch boxes arrayed on the conference table brings back great memories.

Thanks for your report. A visit to Schaffhausen is always a joy. It helps to understand the craftsmanship that goes into the watches a lot once you have visited the factory and see the production process with your own eyes.

For me it was a memorable experience being invited to visit and benefit from the "Tour at IWC". I often look through the members photos accrued after the visit and it seems as though it was only a few weeks ago. Meeting and sharing the visit and experiences with other IWC enthusiasts really put the icing on the cake. Anyone who has the oppotunity, if never been to Schaffhausen, should definately add it to his / her list of "things to do".
