I have recently bought my first IWC watch (IW371401) from an AD (Tourneau), however, the package does not include an IWC Warranty Card. It only has a Toruneau Warranty card. And this warranty card does not have the case number printed. It only shows an Item No, which does not match the case number. Should I have the IWC warranty card in the package? How can I be sure this is a genuine and brand new IWC watch?

Congrats on your new watch.
If you have a purchase/sales receipt from the deal - you are fine. Since they are an Authorized Dealer - they should still honor the 2-year IWC factory warranty. Any IWC dealer has "too much to lose" if they provide less than admirable and truthful service - so, I don't feel you need worry about the watch be "misrepresented". Alan's advice is good. You could call them to discuss your concern.
I view the IWC Warranty card as a part of the packaging/papers. Some collectors may feel the package is "incomplete" without it.
The Warranty Card itself has never come into play over the past 11 years and several instances of Warranty Service up to 20 months from date of purchase, without need to provide that card.

I am quoting myself to clarify and edit my previous post - I meant that in MY OWN 11 year history as an IWC customer - my own experience has been that I have never needed to use, or show the Warranty Card, nor has the warranty card been submitted with my watches in cases of the warranty service provided by IWC.

I think the warranty card comes in very handy if you take the watch for repairs to a different AD. With your AD I think they actually provide an additional year of service under their warranty. So if you go beyond two years you would certainly want to take it there for service.

Does not matter as long as the warranty card is authentic.

It costs you nothing to call in an ask for one. They are a good dealer and the card will come in handy should you ever trade up or sell it on. Not really what you want to think about with a new watch of course!
Thank you.
