I generally don't comment on watches currently for sale, but will make an exception this one time.
This is a cal. 86, which is uncommon since only 4,800 were made from 1922 to 1938. Without the movement number, I can't tell the exact date, but I suspect this was from the late 1930s. I don't believe there is much of a premium, if any, placed on the fact that it is uncommon --as such "rarity" is a strong word.
The dial is a redial, and not well-done (which lowers value significantly to knowing buyers). I would guess the watch was originally sold in the UK, but that is a guess.
On the Cal. 86, here's some data:
produced : 1921-1938 number of produced movements : ca. 4,800 movement diameter : 23,35 mm or 10¼ Paris Lignes movement height : 3,65 mm number of functional jewels : 17 / 19 artificial jewels number of jewel-settings : 0 oscillating frequency : 2.50 Hertz half-beats per hour : 18,000 decorations : different variations surfaces : different variations hand setting with : crown balance type : monometallic, screws balance-spring- type : Breguet balance-spring adjustment system : classic adjustment
