Last year I sold my Aquatimer 1000 and bought a Rolex GMT and also a Omega Planet Ocean! When I think back and have no idea why`!There is nothing to me that beats the Quality and Craftmanship of an IWC watch. So I traded again, this time for good.
I am now the proud owner of a Aquatimer 2000 (White dial on a bracelet) and wow what a watch. Really pleased with her,
I have a couple of questions regarding servicing if anyone can help
1. How often would this need servicing?
2. Does it get done in the UK? How long does it take?

You certainly started your IWC collection off right! This is one of the favorites of the forum, and that bracelet is wonderful- I was wearing my AT/bracelet just yesterday. Congratulations.
While IWC urges servicing every 5 years or so, many people just wait until they sense a problem with the watch, such as losing time, or stopping. However, if you are truly using it as a diving watch, I'd follow IWC's timing.
When you want servicing, take it to your dealer, and it will get the correct service by IWC, whether it is in GB, or they send it back to Schaffhausen. It does, however, take a while to have the service done, perhaps as long as a couple or few months- but it will come back "as new".
