While in Riga, Latvia this week for some business, one of my compatriots came to a meeting wearing this PD wrist watch. Both he and I would love to know more about this reference, which I assume to be one of the early PD IWCs. It is Ti case with a quartz movement on a rubber strap with a PD deployant buckle. There was no information engraved on the case back. What years was it produced? How many? etc?
It was originally bought in Singapore.
I look forward to finding out more about this interesting IWC.

I'm fairly sure it is an Ultra Sport/Ultra Sportivo Ref 3330 with a Cal 2210 movement. The movement was only produced in 1984, so the watch dates from then or a little later.
I've attached part of an image from my hard drive (originally posted by MF, Jack Freedman or nemo?) showing a catalogue image.

It looks very much like my IWC Porsche Design Ultra Sportivo that I bought in 1988. Mine has a titanium bracelet, and no holes in the bezel, and the dial is slightly different. But the similarities are obvious. Alas, I don't have my documentation on this watch here in Switzerland, but Googling I found the reference number 3336, which sounds familiar. It is small, 32 mm, it is advertised as a ladies watch right now.
Kind regards, Paul

Great Team work folks - in support of Bills need for information.
And absolutely great to see some of these watches from the quartz period. Just looking at them now - one can imagine how "radical & new" the Porsche Design's must have seemed then. Almost taking a leaf out of a then budding Danish designer studio (George Jensen), putting the German engineering twist to it, and coming out with great sporty looking watches.
