The Californi company Odopod that did much of the work on this new website published one or more articles about the site's technical design. For the first of the articles that they published click here

Michael,
Thanks for posting the link. It is very interesting to read about companies that are building out web properties using the technologies that many people (aka geeks like me) feel are the future of the web. Too many sites remain hostile towards mobile devices and thankfully, iwc.com isn't one of them.
While there is plenty of work to make this site even better, it is one of the most modern and mobile friendly sites in the luxury watch space today.

Dear Peter, I don't think IWC is sort of a company that will have any issues with any nationality/ language/ etc. as long as members behave decently. I am relatively new on the forum, but have studied and followed the company for over 3 years now. Will be honestly surprised if you or your friends have faced any sort of discrimination/ issues. Best would be to contact IWC directly through email & get your feedback from them. MK

Very interesting. I took the liberty to post at the site shown: who knows what happens next? This is my post.
Kind regards, Paul

This IWC site not only is very beautiful; I visit it about every day for the forum, obviously this is a pleasant experience from different perspectives. There is one question about this forum: could the search function be improved? I find it difficult to express the search criteria, narrowing down the huge collection: date range, author, and topic(s). Furthermore the response is a set of total threads, in which the looked for posts are hidden, making the gathering of wanted information cumbersome, so much so that I often give up on it. The set of qualified posts as a response would probably be easier to handle. It would really be great if you could help here. Kind regards, Paul .
What you do may not be so important, but it is very important that you do it well. (my variation of a saying by Gandhi)
