Hello Forum experts,
A long term plan is to find myself a vintage Ingenieur with some authentic patina.
Now, I thought there were 666's and 866's... I have now understand that there was also a ref 766, that from my amateur view looks exactly like the ref 666.
I trust you will be able to tell me about the difference(s).

Hi,
I just had my 666 for a large service in Schaffhausen. The cost for the large overhaul of the movement was approx. 900 USD. They wanted me to have the dial refinished which would have cost another 900 USD, however, I did not want that as it would have had a negative effect on collectability and value of the watch. The service was done beautifully. I had the hands replace but demanded that the original hands would be returned which they did (I had to insist). It takes at least three months for them to complete these tasks. Should you have any more questions, please let me know.

Any idea on how much, roughly, an overhaul in Schaffhausen would be? (Regular service & new crystal)

It really depends on what you want them to do to the watch. An asseesment will be made and you will be advised of their findings together with costs.
Here's one I had done a couple of years ago , which cost between £7-£800 GBP
