I started my IWC "Career" with a Spitfire Mark XVI, immediately followed by a Big Pilot. After about a year I had to do it again, and bought a Portofino. As a passionate diver I obviously ought to have an Aquatimer Vintage. About a year ago I saw the Da Vinci Kurt Klaus, and fell immediately in love with it. Was about to buy a steel one, which I fortunately did not do. Why? Because two weeks ago I found one of this very seldom Da Vinci Kurt Klaus in white gold, limited to 50 pieces. And since today I am the proud owner of this incredible timepiece. Wearing a perpetual calendar at your wrist is an incredible feeling. Hopefully, with this timepiece I do now qualify to meet Kurt Klaus one day in person, shake his hand and tell him how thankful I am of this creations.

Congrats on a sensational time piece! It would have been nice in steel, but I am sure you are even happier with your very limited white gold version. Wear in good health.
Cheers,
Ben

Giovanni, no "oops" here! Adding that magnificent watch to your collection is no mistake - and certainly as a personal friend of yours I am overjoyed to see you finally secure your "grail watch".
I've followed your journey on the road to this one and recall your original emotions on seeing my CFDV. I remember as well our discussions around the Kurt Klaus Edition - and how you passed on buying a stainless steel one around 9 months ago - a decision you could not explain at the time.
Today, you collected this dream watch and I like our fellow collectors are pleased for you. Wear it in good health - you deserve it.
