What are you guys thought out there?
Black dial looks very sporty, and i think the black&yellow colour make it looks very distinctive!
White dial is so stunningly pretty, very unique for a sporty look watch with white dial, just pure simple and elegant
Simply cant afford both lol
Went to AD last time, and i can't decide at all.. Maybe i am a Libra, tend to get very hard to make decision..which sometimes good but sometimes bad ;p
Any recommendation would be great and appreciated as i am planning to grab this beauty tomorrow :)
A lot of guys here are tied up today at SIHH, the major industry trade show for IWC. But quickly I will say that the white dial is a forum favorite, and you'll see this discussed in archived posts.

I echo Dick's and MF's comments. The B&W version is a preferred model for those of us on the Forum. I too think the watch is best worn with the SS bracelet.
The lume is outstanding:
The yellow tip on the seconds hand is a great touch

agreed.
IMHO, white dial goes well with all kinds of attires, and suits all situations:

I am going to buck the trend here, I went for the black dial -
However I do like the white dial also. At present, all of the watches in my collection have black dials, a bit of a "thing" I am going through at the moment - I may grow out of it :)
One thing that has only been lightly touched on is that I think that the dial is not why people go for the white one, it is the bezel and lume - the yellow on black really stands out and does increase the "sportiness" of the watch where the white on black on white is a little more subdued. If you want to maximise wrist time, then the white dial may be the go but if you will be mixing it in with another watch of more, then you may like the black dial with the yellow - I have had a surprising number of comments about mine.
As others have also said, go for the bracelet with the initial purchase. This is also part of the reason I went with the black dial - my dealer did not have a white dial with bracelet, only strap at the time. The reason to go with the bracelet when you buy it is that the bracelet is a good 20% of the total price of the watch and at purchase time you can push the dealer for a deal on the watch and then easily buy the rubber strap at a later date without having to sell your children whereas I felt the process would be a lot more painful if you purchased the watch with the strap and then purchased the bracelet down the track.
Cheers,
Ben

Hi Alvin, didn't you just last week get the Pilot's chrono? I think you have a very serious case of IWC virus. If it helps I can assure you that there's no cure in the world for that, believe me! But there are worse things than that disease in the world. If you don't sell your family's living for the watches it's not a serious problem. Enjoy yourself and have fun with IWC and this forum.
BTW I'm not sure about the color of the dial with the AT. I already saw the yellow but the white one I only know from pictures. In the past I found it a little bit boring but now I already find it pretty well. Maybe the yellow is more contrasting between the dial and hands. I usually prefer that. But you have to judge the watch yourself in the real world: Try, touch, look, check. Good luck. Keep us informed about your next steps (best with pics).

Either way, I highly recommend the bracelet.
This one gets a ton of wrist time!
