Just noticed it was changed in 2011 refs for the model from ..05 to ..06 for red gold and from ..04 to ..07 for steel. Does somebody know the reason for that? I suppose that it could be something about caliber 79261, but probably somebody knows details.

Similar reference number changes were made to the Portuguese 3714 line as well. In the past, this often reflected some improvements to the movements. I am not sure if this is the case with KK or 3714 references. MF may be able to spread light on this once the dust settles from the Post SIHH activities.
With the 3714 is was because they added the folding clasp and with the Yacht Club it was because of the improved shock absorber. I believe with the Da Vinci they changed the dial. The first models had a plain dial and the later version had a textured dial.
