Here is the situation: I am in contact with the Hong Kong Prince's Building Boutique, and in the process of purchasing a 322712. I can however not pick it up in person in the foreseeable future.
Would a Hong Kong forum member be so kind as to take posession of the (already paid for) watch and then forward it to me? I will gladly cover all expenses for the help provided. This help would allow me to obtain a long-wanted 3227 with the added privilege of it being a rather special edition.

Hi George,
you can drop me an email and I am more than happy to help where I can. but to note two things:
a) I am not sure if this breaches forum rules as this could be construed as multi-jurisdictional shopping / exporting (as dealers and boutiques are authorized only to sell to those who walk-in, unless otherwise permitted by IWC)
b) shipping it out is - to me - treacherous, because of insurance coverage (or the lack therefore) etc.

George,
just a thought... you might want to give people an idea where you live. That way, if some forummer happens to be heading toward that way...
just a thought.

I am in Switzerland.
Shing has already kindly stepped up to secure the watch in Hong Kong. There is only the need to ferry it to Europe now.
The forum delivers again with first class help, great members!
