Thank you Harry for the article and pictures. I tend to agree on most of your points, your pictures are once more amazing. The RG is probably the dress of all the dress watches.
Here is one more image which I thought I should share even though the quality is quite poor. Jeffrey Sim was with me at the IWC Boutique and he was wearing this smaller brother of the Portuguese. Here is a comparison capture side by side with the 5454 Black dial version.

Harry - thanks very much for crediting the watch owner. Yes, the smaller Port is the Ref. 3531 with 36mm case. I love it for the script, the size and the colour - it's usually THE dress watch for formal events.
And what better way to return to the IWC Collectors' Forum after a very long break? It's good to be back and connecting with fellow IWC collectors, far and near, new and familiar.
