Dear Forum members,
Last year, my local AD contacted Richemont UK to enquire whether the Acquatimer, commonly and iconically known as the 'Fanta' was available and was advised 'all now sold'... :( A long UK winter passed, with long nights thinking of the long lost 'Fanta'.
I then thought I would be faced with buying the 'Fanta' on a famous auction site, until I spotted Nad's recent post on his trip to Geneva. Bingo there was a picture at a local AD, which got me thinking.....
With the help of a Forum member, who is known as the 'original tease' advised me that IWC 'would have sold out but often the AD's may have the odd piece still left, but is considered quite scarce, given the limited number in production originally.
Hence that afternoon, I tracked the 'Fanta' down in the UK using the AD list on the website.
Richemont have subsequently confirmed to me that it was the last 'Fanta' off the IWC tree in the UK.....

Congratulations Mark. A very juicy find and a great sport watch. You join a few forum members owning this popular watch. The Ducth guys believe it was dedicated to them ;-)

Congrats Mark - this is for me the most 'delightful' of the modern Aquatimers - enjoy it!
In case anyone else is looking for the same - there's that one in the Geneva boutique (Jan 12), Schaffhausen boutique (Jan 12) and one more in the Singapore Ion Orchard boutique (Apr 12).
