Hello All,
Now that the weather is becoming nicer here in Toronto, Canada I was wondering what some of your preferences are when wearing your watch(es) during the summer. I do sweat when it is hot and I was wondering if that would damage and/or cause a colouring affect to the strap itself.
I just thought I would see what your preferences are and if some of you have leather banded watches that you prefer not to wear in the summer time and if so for what reason.

The price of straps can be pretty expensive and sweaty straps will darken and age sooner. So I opt for bracelet watches and keep the strapped models for the cool of the evening. But here in the UK it's not the weather that is so sweaty but the activity in those precious hot days. Your Portofino chrono if it's the current model has the option of a bracelet that can be purchased from your local dealer.

I will inquire with the dealer whom I purchased the watch from and see what options they have. It is last year's model but maybe the bracelet might accommodate anyway.

Check the current collection on this site and the reference number against yours. You will see the bracelet option. There are numerous bracelets available for watches but this will match the width and colour shade of SS for your watch. It will cost quite a bit and I believe is available in three sizes xs, std, xl. Be guided by how your current strap fits. Not sure just how adjustable the bracelet is versus straps! Hope you understand the above!
