It's late at night, so I won't have much narrative right now. I will just share some pictures on the Spectacular Grand Opening of the IWC NYC Boutique held this evening. Five very lucky Collectors' Forum members were invited.
The new IWC NYC Boutique is a magnificent addition to the growing fleet of Flagship Boutiques around the world. I understand the NYC Boutique currently is the largest. It certainly is most impressive, but I only can compare this to a non flagship IWC Boutique I visited in Las Vegas. There is no comparison, btw.
Here is the Venue located at 54th St. and Madison Ave in the heart of mid-town Manhattan (In the high rent district).
The start of the line waiting to enter the party.
The interior is divided into separate conversation areas defined by the IWC family of watches....Portuguese, AT, Pilot's, etc.
A few decorative items spread around the Boutique floor.
On the fireplace mantel:
A pre opening party dinner; Kevin, Nelson and me:
Walking in to start the festivities, Nelson and Kevin
The five amigos, Richard, Nelson, me, Kevin and Evan. Of course, MF was our companion as well. We all owe IWC and MF a big thanks for allowing us to join in the festivities. It was an honor to be invited.
Our intrepid moderator with Evander Holyfield
Some famous celebrities, I have to admit I don't know who some of them were....showing my age.
Larry Holms and Evander Holyfield were there supporting the Muhammad Ali BP which was on display for the evening along with a wall of Ali photographs and a major book of his life.
Georges Kern counts as a celebrity, right?
The real stars of the evening are the IWC watches.
The hit of the evening, the Muhammad Ali BP
Nelson's Minute Repeater, oh my!
A huge thanks once again to IWC and MF for inviting us to their big event. I'll post more later.

What a fabulous environment! Wonderful people also but you guys look the best to my opinion.
Thank you for the great reportage Bill, you've posted many masculine celebrities, was it to confirm IWC watches are made for men or because you forgot to take pictures of beautiful ladies???
