Yesterday Russian edition of Revolution magazine organized small event dedicated history of development of perpetual calenders started from first attempts few hundred years ago and finished engineering of IWC and Kurt Klaus. Very interesting discussion, the presentation was made by Alexey Kutkovoy, in my opinion the best Russian watch journalist. And of course everybody could see perpetual calenders from current IWC collection - Da Vinci, Portuguese, BP etc.
Denis Peshkov - editor in chief of Revolution (russian edition) and Alexey Kutkovoy:
And some vintage watches was also checked afterwards:

YEEESSSSS!! Wow, I think I'd have a nervous fit at that kind of event- running across the room to play/grab all those watches, and probably jumping up and down on the dining table like a neanderthal!

I'm with you Thang! That kind of watch "spread" would inspire similar behavior from me! Thanks for your report, Roman!
