Hello,
I own 2 IWC pieces which belonged to my parents and would like help in determining their approximate value since I find myself unfortunately in a difficult financial situation. I recognize this is difficult via internet and that the results are subject to many conditions but I hope the members of this forum might provide some help.
One is a wrist watch circa 1950 according to the databases. The case is SN 1195751. I cannot see the movement number. It has been restored 20+ years ago in Geneva and is working well The second is a pocket watch, movement serial number is 900910 (from 1929 per database), case is 936924. This watch is clean inside but condition unknown. The two needles are detached inside, one is broken. The outer case is engraved JR.

Have I offended ? I love these pieces and have held on to them for many years but realistically can no more. I had thought to get some unselfish help here.
Thank you John

No, you haven't offended but sometimes posts get buried due to the volume of new posts. If you could show images that would help, since style and condition are relevant.

Thanks for your response. Relieved. I uploaded pictures but they are not posted yet. How long does the screening usually take ? I can send by e-mail if you are interested.
Thanks again, John

I'm not sure what method you used to post a photo. Pictures will load instantly. So something is amiss. Here is how most of us post pictures just in case your method is different and not working.
Your photos unfortunately got caught, for no good reason, in our Spam filter. I'mn sorry about that, but fixed it now. I couldn't find a photo of your wristwatch.

I can provide pictures by email.
Many thanks,
