Hong Kong
I have a business conference in Orlando, Florida. So, I am spending a week here.
I know my travel-logs and photos are nowhere near as nice as Nad's, but... I don't care. (Do you?)
Before departing from the Hong Kong airport, I must take a photo at the boutique:
My flight was delayed, and I missed my connecting flight while transiting at the Chicago airport:
So, it gave me an opportunity to spend some time touring around the Chicago airport. Too bad I didn't have a Pilot watch with me this time:
After finishing an exhausting day-long meeting on the first day, I needed to do some other work... so I could not join my colleagues for dinner. I had to order room service instead:
When my 4-day meeting was finally over, I finally got a chance to sneak up to one of the nearby malls to shop for my wife and sons:
Have I been away from the US for too long? didn't remember they discriminate the men against the women/family ;-)
There was no IWC dealer in Orlando, so pardon me for not taking any IWC window-shots. The best I could do would be to take some random shot of a poster of a watch shop:
Even though there was no IWC boutique, there was a M&M boutique! So, guess I would just have to improvise...
After a morning of shopping, I planned to meet up with some ex-high-school classmates whom I hadn't seen for a couple of decades. They happened to be living in Florida. As I waited for them, I took a random shot in front of my hotel:
We went to International Drive for lunch. Here is a quick random shot of some tourists' attraction:
My friend although have lived in Florida for years, had never been to Ripley's Believe it or not. So, believe it or not, we went in there for a quick tour:
where we met up with some new old friends:
and among other exhibits, saw a "Last Supper" painting made entirely of laundry lint:
What are all these parrots doing in here?
We also visited "Wonder Works":
Tonight is my last night in Orlando. What's for dinner? McDonald's?
nahh... for some reasons, I miss Denny's. It used to be one of my favorite restaurants/hang-out's when I was studying in the US. So, for a quick bite alone, where else could I go but...
This trip has been very rush... and as I have visited the Universal Studio and Kennedy Space Center before, so pardon me for omitting them in this trip.

Kelvin, Thanks very much for the travelog of Orlando. It is always interesting to me to see what other people find interesting when they go to that town. Hope you enjoyed yourself and I love your AT.

So, just as a reassurance, this is what I had for lunch before my flight:
When I arrived at the Hong Kong airport, I was immediately greeted by these. What a way to conclude my trip!
