There was a recent forum discussion about the Portuguese PC with the blue face, ref 5021/5032, which is very rare. At the time I said it was a target of mine but I hadn't seen one in the metal, only online etc, so I had been looking for one for some time, since it was first released in fact.
By sheer chance I visited an AD in London recently just browsing and asked if they had ever seen one. Guess what? They had one in stock, a 5032, it had been there for 3 months and was a special order for another customer and not collected. I couldn't believe my luck, I really wasn't shopping but there was only going to be one outcome!!.
Some would say it was finally meant to be.. it's now the latest addition to my collection and currently proudly on my wrist. I can only say to the other guy, whoever he was...your very big loss!!
What does everyone think ?? Note the pics were taken today under a "full moon"

Alan, from a very proud owner of a very similar watch, the Ref.5021 - I must say Sir, you have impeccable taste!
Your new watch will not disappoint you and you will find yourself wearing it with great pleasure. When I first considered mine, I was concerned about possibly growing "tired" after a while of the blue dial (as opposed to a white dial). Fortunately, during a small GTG in Amsterdam CINQ was persuasive and managed to sell me on the merits of this watch and it's great design & beauty of the blue dial. He was not wrong !

Alan, you have achieved a new height in the blue dial world! It is a stunning dial which I have had the good luck to see in person when Mark wore his to SIHH this past Jan and then again in an AD in NYC. Congratulations, enjoy, wear it in good health and know that the blue dial enthusiasts here on the forum are a tad bit jealous.

Alan, my sincerest congratulations to you. I've been fortunate enough to try this on- and no picture can give the deep powerful blue any justice. Wear this masterpiece in good health and please post photos... often! Best wishes, Thang

Wow, congratulations on a great catch! It was only a few weeks ago that I heard how rare this one is. The AD here has ordered one (not for me though) and told me that it could take up to 2 years to get it!
Despite the fact that I convinced Mark that a blue dial wouldn't become dull, I still haven't seen this watch in real life :-(
Enjoy yours and wear it in good healt, hopefully I will be able to see one in real life one of these days.

Hi Shing
Thanks for the compliment. Yes it does indeed have the new clasp buckle complete with "Probus Scafusia" emblem, it gives a very high quality look.

Alan
