After seeing postings regarding to the Russian Edition BP, I've been exchanging emails and phone calls with 1881 Heritage frantically for the possibilities of acquiring this watch, which is not dedicated to Asia. Finally I got confirmation this afternoon for the chance to own my 5th BP( only if it materialized), I of course happily confirmed this order, firmly!! Few hours later, a cancellation phone call on this watch was made to me, reason being Schaffhausen has decided to give this watch to another customer.

I'm very sorry for you, I guess these kind of things happen when distance plays a certain role and someone, from another part of the world, simply can't say: "No" to somebody (probably closer to him than you or already known as a customer).
The same situation has happened to me a couple of times. I simply thought someone counted more than me for that somebody in charge to decide which direction the watch had to keep; it's boring and unfair but it happens.
I wish you to find your watch of desire, very soon :)
We obviously can't get into legal issues here: such as whether you had a deposit and signed anything, whether there was a mistake made by one clerk being unaware of a prior sale, etc. I doubt that Schaffhausen decided which end-user gets a watch, and it's more likely a clerical error at the sales level. I'm surprised that the HK Boutique even can get, on a regular basis, a limited edition for Russia.

sorry to hear about that. but best of luck trying to continue to acquire one - no doubt complicated with these limited edition ones. one of our russian forum members had said they were still available, but i believe that was a couple of weeks ago - so things might have changed. regards, thang

Indeed, probably a too early an enthusiastic "Yes - we can" response from the locals there. But let's hope you can still secure one.
But in the meantime - to help us all over the shared disappointment, would it not be possible to post a "fab four" picture of the current collection? that would help you, I and all the others here cheer up!

Cools me down a little after knowing this kind of things happened to someone else as well. As a big fan, my desires are those hard to get; limited edition (within budget). To be denied of a sales after confirmation, simply feels sucks!

p.s. impressive... 4 BPs!
HK is my only channel of acquiring this watch, Russia too far away. Might be some left in Russia BTQ, but was told no more left in Schaffhausen. HK BTQ politely informed me that nothing else they can do to further peruse this watch for me.
