I missed the full moon by one day as it was too cloudy Saturday when the moon was at perigee to the earth...the largest and brightest moon phase of the year.
I like the PPC even better. What a work of art...thank you KK and the IWC design team.

I too like that new camera (I even liked the old one).....
But, I am perturbed by the fact that that crown is in the "out" position. Why would that be (it's not in the hack position - as the 2nd hand has moved on).
On another note, I note that the more I see this watch Bill, the more I think maybe - just maybe it's time for me to drop the crescendo of "I don't wear red/rose Gold". It's simply stunning.

Bill gave me a list of his lens details for his new camera, but I did not realise that his 24-70 or 105 macro was so powerful! must be the moon was remarkably closer than anyone anticipated! Great shot and the watch is fabulous too. Clouded out here so no moon to be seen! Mark it's no good disliking wearing YG or RG, there's a lovely feeling about the soft warmth they exude when wearing them so stop tucking them away and wear them and then you might just pull the trigger on an 1850 with that movement you cherish!

These are spectacular photos of my "grail" watch and a beautiful moon! Your photos were excellent already, but the new camera improves on what I couldn't envision being improved!!!
Best regards, Jim

Skule Wrote:Bill - man I just love that watch :-) And this is true eye-candy for Mark and KS Low too!
Thanks for testing out your new camera on such fine "models" Bill!
Skule, you are of course 100% correct. This watch certainly begins to appeal to me more and more! ......but, the Mrs. has said that I'm meant to be on diet - so no more candy for me right now :~(

PS I also like the PPC better, maybe this year?
