Gentlemen,
let me introduce my latest acquisition and share my passion for this excellent timepiece. It is not easy to make friends with the Mission Earth as long as one only "knows" the watch from print, catalogue and window display. To be honest, I did not like and ingnored the watch for a long time, it seemed not to fit at all, though I love watches that are larger size than the usual 40-42mm. I am the proud owner of the Spitfire Chrono which is a great but not a big watch and I own the Ref.604 which is an icon Cal.89 of course but too tiny on my wrist. I needed something heavier. So I decided to obey THE VIRUS and go for a third watch from Schaffhausen. When I carefully(!) went to the AD to try on the Mission Earth, I still was convinced this will be a no-go anyway and I'll be out in a minute. Until I had the watch in my hands! I should have known better! The size, the weight, the known technical and the hidden optical details, even the rubber strap suddenly transformed from a not-very-desirable-watch-in-a-catalogue to something great and I mean great. Wrist time was limited since I had actually no time at all but of course the idea of getting this very watch was born. However, though the first thought is always the right one, I did force myself to take my time and paid a second and a third visit to make a final decision. I simply love this watch from the first moment I held it in my hands but I admit it was a long way to even approach the thought of being an owner of the Ingenieur Mission Earth. I am now and extremely proud of it.
Some details and wrist shots, have a great week everyone.

Congrats Tom ! I too am a great fan of ING ME, I have two and I can very well relate to your feelings, the fact that the watch kept calling you back only proves that it was meant for you. Wear it in good health.
