Saw this in the window of an AD in Bern...is it a past model or a new version of the portuguese automatic?? sorry for the prices that were caught in the first photo...if a problem, it could be removed.. cheers, y

Simius,check out the archives post of 21 Nov 2011. I think it is the same model, which is a Limited Edition Boutique edition of 500 pieces, can't see the picture in the archive now (not showing through my internet system, I often have this problem in China), but pretty sure from memory.

I think I saw that watch at the NYC boutique. If you look at the pictures Bill Barker took when Rave was in, there is a shot of Rave, Noreen and me. The watch is just behind Rave' s head.

Is that the Portofino Chrono limited edition for Laureus in the back ? I think I can make out the child's drawing engraved on the back (from the mirror).
Were you trying on the Perpetual calendar ?
This model doesn't seem to be "boutique exclusive" if it is in an AD in Bern. Or am I missing something ?

yes, indeed the one in front of the mirror is the Portofino Chrono Laureus... I have tried the Port perpetual calendar previously in the boutique in Schaffhausen, but what I would rather try at this particular AD in Bern is is the Portuguese Regulateur Tourbillon, which for couple of days is displayed only during day time... and you are right questioning the 5001 RG black dial as a 'boutique watch'... since as you might know, there are currently just two IWC ADs in Bern, no one of them is a boutique...so for sure it's a limited edition, which seems to be available also outside the IWC boutiques.. cheers, y
