Davdurro,
Welcome to the forum.
The new MARK XVII retains the 20mm lugg size from the XVI. From your post title, "Kevlar Bands", IWC does not offer a true Kevlar strap. They do produce a soft Nylon strap which is sometimes refered to as Kevlar on the forum. However, to the best of my knowledge, 21mm is the smallest available.
Some say that it can work on a 20mm because it is more pliable than a croc leather band, but IMO I would try that out at your AD/Boutique to see if it physically and aesthetically is acceptable to you.
Other 20mm options for the XVII are the MARK XVI/Spitfire croc straps, the MARK "Son" BP strap from the "Father&Son" set and the beautiful Multi-links steel bracelet. As you may know, the new MARK XVII pilot croc strap differs from the previous XVI in that it has taken on the (non-rivet) BP look.
BTW, there are numerous after market companies that will make just about any design/material you desire in the size needed.
