Hi guys, There was a great deal of excitement on the Forum Watch in March this year. Any news on the same. Hope I did not miss out on it. Was absent from the forum for quite a while. Just remembered. Any news anyone? MK

Hi MK, Alan
Oliver assured me when I met him recently that the project is still a possibility. As written already - there are many comsiderarions to be taken into account - but Oliver et al are still behind this initiative.

Thanks Andrew,
Was traveling, mostly in & out of town. Thought I missed it. Had gone to NYC and missed the IWC Boutique as I reached after they has closed. Was spectacular from out-side. Felt like I was standing outside my house.Missed it the next day and then was out of NYC.
Missed Schaffhausen last year when I got my watch. Had gone till the Rhine Falls, only to notice on the way back to Zurich that Schaffausen was about 2 stops ahead.
Next time may be... I think its a sign that I need to visit Switzerland & NY again, and soon.
MK

To me it's no surprise we do not hear anything. Imagine, IWC is running good business now, they have to dedicate their resources to the projects that bring most revenue. I can't imagine that - like the previous Forum watch - a set of 10 to 20 additional, limited watches sold seem attractive at this point.

I would hold a different view. Time, as always, will be the ultimate arbiter.

You, and I, may hope it for us all. I saw the Mark XVII in abundance while on holiday. Give it an ardoise sunburst dial, I know what I am talking about now, and it would be a killer watch. And was ardoise sunburst not the darling dial of a lot of forum members?
Kind regards, Paul

@ Paul, whats this? You already have Sir an oh so nice Ardoise dialed watch in your collection. Not only that Paul, but it's a 2012 model as well....
...what on earth will the misses be saying on your side, if she saw you here (above) punting for another Ardoise watch:-)
But the, who am I to be flagging this up to you, when like you I agree thats Ardoise Sunburst dial would be a darling on a CFIII - and not only that, like you I am a lucky owner of a 2012 Ardoise dialed watch as well - LoL!!

Paul,
Agree....Ardoise dial but eliminate date window. Add Red seconds hand and Brown strap.
