Hello everyone
I'm new here, and today is a special day for me. I just purchased my first serious watch and after thinking about it for a long time, exploring different options and changing my mind a million times, I ended where I started - with an IWC!
There is something strangely appealing about IWC and I can't really explain what it is, but somehow I think if all goes well this will not be my last IWC. The more I look at it the more I'm amazed by subtle details and quality of the watch.
Anyways, just wanted to share my (novice) excitement!

My story is similar - my first serious mechanical watch was a Mark XV some 12 years ago. That began a long love affair with IWC which continues to this day.
I think you are correct this will not be your last IWC. Welcome to the Forum, and please post some pictures of your new beauty!

Thank you all for your welcoming and kind comments.
I would love to post some photos, but I'm not sure how to do it. I tried loading them from my hard drive, but when I press "picture" tab, an "URL" window opens? Any tips would be welcome.
