Andy, welcome to the forum, and what an amazing first post !
Thanks for sharing your journey. The B-hur Cal 52 SC is a piece we don't often see here in the forum, and your pictures are lovely.

Andy, welcome to the forum and what a first post! Amazing! I really enjoyed seeing your B-Uhr pictures, and I think I will come to your post regularly until one arrives in my hands....by chance, who knows?!

Hello,
Thank you for the very warm welcome to your forum and for all your kind comments.
I have had quite a few of the B-Uhr watches pass through my workshop and I am always impressed by their superb design and quality. Here is another group shot showing an additional watch on the far right side. This additional watch is one of the very early Wempe B-Uhr's which were produced for the RLM (Reichsluftfahrt-Ministeriums). These early experimental navigation watches were fitted with stripped down chronograph movements. This particular watch has a Le Phare Cal. 114 movement fitted.
I find it very interesting that the DNA of the iconic IWC Big Pilot watch from WW2 is still so strongly represented in the range of watches available from IWC today - over 70 years later. Andy
