Hello all,
Perhaps I am not looking in the right place or asking the correct question, but I have been unable to find on the website or solicit a definative answer over email to the question: "which movements are and are not IWC designed, made and constructed?"
I am new to IWC, but am on the cusp of ordering the Vintage Aquatimer Automatic. However, the decision to order will depend on the answer to the question.
If anyone was able to answer this or perhaps comment more generally on IWCs current approach to movements - ie do they use ETA, Valjoux, Sellita etc or are they all in-house movements - it would be much appreciated.

Hi Mark, welcome to the forum.
Vintage Collection Aquatimer uses the inhouse calibre 80111. You can check the various timepieces in the Collection header above. All the models which indicate a 'calibre XXXXX' will denote an inhouse movement. Those which do not uses an modified movement of another manufacture. Nothing wrong in my opinion - and this has been discussed much before.
hope this helps.
