I am looking at a secondhand Pilot's Watch mk XV, and I have 2 questions/concerns:
1) The winder does not have the usual 'fish' on it and has some text instead - can't remember the words, but is this usual? My other IWCs have a fish.
2) The back of the watch has the 'Die Fliegeruhr' as usual but it is lightly engraved rather than the deep engraving I am used to seeing.
Is this all characteristic of an older model, or is there something suspicious? It is from a reputable jeweller but I am still wondering
Thanks
