So I've had my Santoni strap on my Portuguese hand-wound for a few months now and decided to look into a deployant clasp. While I think it means slightly less wear-and-tear, I primarily just like them and there is much lower chance of dropping the watch when you're putting it on.
So did my standard research and it seems there are different length Santonis, depending on tang clasp vs. deployant. I have the "regular" length, so what to do?
Decided to live life on the edge, went onto panatime dot com and, for $30, ordered a brushed steel clasp. Put it on yesterday and it fits great. Very pleased. In a perfect world, would have dropped multiple hundreds on the beautiful IWC clasp, but this one fits the bill just fine.
So anybody looking to plop on a deployant to a "regular" Santoni, go right ahead. You're welcome!
