Have been a long time lurker on this forum, which started when my first IWC arrived: Mark XV. Soon identified my grail watch, but considered it too hard to find, particularly because I preferred it also to be my birth year watch (1972). Some of the guru forummers here have posted pictures of their blue dials that conseal a 8541 calibre. Need I say more .... Now that watch is with DHL heading my way :-)

Congratulations. We have at least two things in common. Our age and our love of this blue dial 866 Ingenieur. Welcome to the forum. I passed by on one from xx June 1972 recently that was available in Germany. Another one I regret letting pass by :-(

That's great. I noticed some scratches on the movement and the dial wasn't in the greatest shape - but it nevertheless remains a beauty.
