Hmm...that movement number is for a Savonette calibre 53, dating from the year 1897. You clearly have a Lepine, with the crown at 12. Are you sure about the number?

The lighting in my house is a bit dim right now. Ill look again tomorrow when i have a better light,but i'm pretty sure about the number. Thanks again for the quick response.

I took this to a local shop today and am sure this is a geniune IWC cal 57 lepine. I recently listed this on a popular auction website and took some better pictures of the watch. If anyones interested at looking at those photos. Great timepiece dating 115 yrs old

I Think I found it! 1898 cal.57 Lepine? could someone confirm this please. And if so, please Tell me what you know about it.
