Thanks to all for the supportive replies.
And for those out there who think I've "ruined" a vintage watch by updating it....please understand that the dial was an older re-dial in ratty shape and a few of the lugs were over-polished. This was never going to be a true "collector" watch.
My plan was to get a good deal on a well used 666 and do a very minimal restoration.
Mark (8541), you took the words right out of my mouth. I am thoroughly enjoying this watch and it's been on my wrist since my watchmaker handed it back to me a few days ago.
