If you are a facebook follower of IWC you will see a very high quality "photograph like image" of the back of a watch that one could be led to believe was the watch that was auctioned.
I.e. it has the engraving "Laureus Charity Night Zürich 2012 - 1/1" although it has the generic case number 2345678 - indicating it is only an image and not the actual watch.
However interestingly it has Au750 as a stamp indicating Gold rather than Platinum - which would have Pt.
Is this an indication that we may have other metal variations in the future - "STEEL PLEASE - pretty please" ! Like we used to see in the St Exupery series. I am putting some of my savings aside - just in case ;-)
