Several weeks back there was a discussion about whether or not the underside of subdial hands were finished to the same quality as the visible side. This came up when someone took a picture of a a moon phase and the reflection appeared to show less finishing. Can you confirm or elaborate?

In case you didn't follow the previous threads on this topic, here is one of the pictures posted on this subject. The IWC is a Vintage Collection Portofino.
It's pretty rough on the underside compared to the shinny side of the Brequet hand.

Off the top of my head I think the hands are finished glossy only on the top as are the steel hands for the ref. 3533 currently on my bench.
