Yes this is a discontinued model - but can still be found in various places with some proper hunting. As to list-price, well, I will just comment that it is a % notch below the current price-point of a steel ref 5001.

Fleekk, I can answer your question easily out of own experience. When I saw that beauty for the first time for sales at my AD ... I bought it. Here is a picture of it:
This one is the Platinum version. I love the clearness of the dial and the immense understatement of that watch.

I was told by my AD that the blue strap & deployant buckle is here. I will be heading down to check it out soon & who knows, I might be bring this scare piece back home.

This photo does not do justice to the blue strap, you must see the real thing as it's really bring out the bluish of the minute hand.
