I was just wondering if anyone knows where does the Alligator from the Portofino's bracelet/strap come from?

USA (Florida? or New Orleans?)
Mexico ?
or
China ?

I don't know specifically, but in the past the strap manufacturer that IWC used sourced its hides from Lousiana (I don't believe alligator farms exist in the city of New Orleans).
