Half right!
Hmm, now if I only knew which half was right. Next guess: Portuguese Régulateur in white gold?

Wow, congratulations on that very special piece! After posting my guess, I had some doubts because in the reference picture I found the brushed part looked thinner. The angle wasn't completely the same though and I couldn't think of another watch so I was just patiently awaiting your reply!
Enjoy this beautiful watch and wear it in good health! Make sure to post more pictures too, we don't see the Régulateur very often here.

Thanks guys. I traded both of my Chrono's despite the panda being my first IWC and the reverse being 1 of 50 for Miami Vice... I just found them too small after the 5001 and they were not getting any wrist time. The Regulateur just struck me as an interesting mid way to the perpetual one day and being quite rare seemed a worthwhile trade up. Great to release a couple of great chrono's back to the pre-owned market too as I know somebody will give them more wear. Cheers.

MATTM, In my opinion you did well. Love the new piece, we don't see it too often and I'm sure it will get the proper wrist time from you. Enjoy and wear in good health.

What you do may not be so important, but it is very important that you do it well. (my variation of a saying by Gandhi)
