Hi All,
I hinted the other day in another thread that I received a message form my AD last week that a new item was waiting for my pickup. I finally got around to picking it up last Friday and thought I would share with you.
In the usual fashion, I am going to draw it out and tease you all as much as possible :) So to start with, here is a little teaser :
I will let you all guess over what the new addition is and maybe add some more images shortly. Needless to say, I am extremely happy with this new addition!
Cheers,
Ben

The pin looks a little wide relative to a watch strap and the IWC text doesn't look "deep enough". A belt seems a good idea - but I hope there is a watch to be revealed at the end of this pin buckle.

Could this be a forum first? To me it seems to be a Miramar, but which? My guess is the Chrono, maybe because it is my farourite of the two. Suspence, suspence...
Kind regards, Paul

I think I know...
Like the " Big IWC Wall Clocks " some have acquired, I think this is a " Big IWC Pin Buckle " made to fit on a belt for jeans.
I hope so because this would make for a very "cool" collectable.
IWC .... wouldn't you agree ? How many members would like one ?

Hi Andy,
Love your line of thinking! :) but alas, no it isn't a belt or belt buckle.
Here is another pic, a little more revealing this time:
Yep, I am going to draw this out :)
Cheers,
Ben
Hey Ben,
Always enjoy a good (strip) tease....more, more !!
Actually, I was thinking a St. Exupery brown/contrast stitch leather belt for the buckle idea...but that MiraMar military green fabric would also make for a interesting casual belt. I'll bet Mr. Porter would approve !
OK IWC...run with it...but please, no Milanese mesh belts. It would look like a waist chain and I'm not really into the "Prison" look.
Actually, guys, I already have IWC belt buckles. These were promotional items, in very limited quantities, when the pilots watch line was first redesigned, circa 2005.
