I had seen this piece in the window of my AD a while ago but had not given it a lot of attention. Surely 44mm would be to big for my wrist, after all I had been trying on the new Pilot chronograph at 43mm earlier and I could just get away with that. However after seeing some posts on the forum recently this was growing on me so I decided to go in and just have a look.
Sorry about the blurry picture due to low light and the excitement that it actually worked quite well.
It turned out to be a very pleasant afternoon chatting about watches with tea and chocolates where some other models also passed the table.
But you probably know how these things end... At the end of the day the seal gets removed from the back and I took it home.
It is really thin,
and the applied numerals look fantastic.
So there you have it, the 3rd P. After Pilot and Portofino this starts to look like a collection.
Omar Khayyám (Persia XI-XII Century) offered that Time should not only be measured in length but also in width due to the intrinsic difference between a minute or other depending on what is happening to the beholder... I wonder how a watch would look like...

You tried to cross the Slippery Slope, and there you go... with a third and very nice IWC- Kevin says 'dress watch', but I also think this would look great with jeans on the weekend!

LOL - right up there with "I didn't think it was loaded" and "of course I'll love you in the morning". Oh, the lies we tell! :-)
Beautiful watch, and I don't blame you a bit. It must be completely captivating. I agree with Nelson - bet it would look great with jeans, too.
