Hi all, i am pretty active on some other watch forums, but this is my first post on the official IWC forum.
I currently have two IWC watches, a white dialled blue handed portuguese chrono and a 3789 top gun. In the past i have owned a 3227-01 Ingy and a 3717 Flieger.
I recently tried an ap bands natural leather on the 3789 and while i liked it, i still think that the oem nylon is a better match, are there any other straps that work well (after market or OEM) on the ceramic cased fliegers?

Its 21mm but the brown strap you see there is a 22mm which will generally squeeze on !
Being 21mm...may I suggest a deeper brown St. Exupery ( ref. 21700 ) as an option. Never tried pairing one up on a ceramic, but it would be worth looking at when visiting a AD/Boutique location. A recent posting ( sorry, I forgot which one) showed a honey-tan smooth calfskin with a ceramic and it received many compliments. Perhaps a fellow Forumer can remember which posting has this combination.

Id love to see the smooth calf that was mentioned if anyone has seen it
Hi C,
Yes the straps in my pics are custom-made, rather 'made-to-measure' to my specs.
this post may help - Ben's brown calf strap from before - http://www.iwc.com/forum/en/discussion/31595/

Alan,
I think it is starting to catch on as IWC makes more straps available.
My 5001 on an FA Jones like strap
