Antonio, this BUND is the real SEAL (GE Kampfschwimmer) but is the Quartz Version of the BUNDs.;-)
KInd regards
Hi Hajo, Thanks for reminding me. I get the BUNDs all confused. ;) I still need one of "them" BUNDs, though (wink) but definitely not the one powered by a quartz cristal, although the asymmetric logo is very appealing.

Hi Antonio, when the assimetric logo is very appealing to you, you have only the choice between the rarest one - 3509 3H or the most expensive one - AMAG So keep an eye on your/your wife's credit card during the Christmas shopping in NY. ;-)

Hi Hajo, Although I find the asymmetric logo very appealing, that will not stop me from grabbing the first mechanical BUND that gets in range of my RADAR. This NY Christmas will definitely put a dent in my finances, but the wife will not be the only culprit. There is a planed gtg next Saturday that includes a low level flight through the boutique, with unforeseen consequences. :)

On Saturday, we will all be flying with no parachutes. I have an IWC to pick up, god willing that it arrived from Schaffhausen.

Bill & Tony, I wish you and all the other gtg participants a "Good flight & a successful Happy landing" participants the NY "IWC Boutique Airport". :-)
I am curious what your RADAR will contact after a long approach and forces you to a short landing! ;-)

Even though I won't be able to join you on Saturday, I called Patrick and advised him that if he wants to make a sale he should put all white dials, open back Ingenieurs and triple date pilots in the safe before you arrive.

Short landings can be tricky - low approach speed, strong crosswinds, and all that. A rejected landing, or a touch-and-go, are recommended if the conditions are not perfect. :)
