It is the way the concept is implemented that makes the difference. The IWC way of implementing is quite clean, both the new 40 mm watch and the ceramic (is this still been inspired enough by the Gerald Genta concept?) look very nice to me. The Hublot in contrast is busy and a bit messy, with a lot of frills. But in a way you are right: the Ingenieur family is not my favourite, that is the Portuguese, like the handwound.
