how else to conclude 2012 but to get a 2012 limited edition of the Vintage Ingenieur?
Hope you all have had a great 2012, and wish you all a Happy 2013 (and welcome the year of the Ingenieur!)

In 2012, I added two watches to my collection:
1) IWCSpitfire Chronograph (IW387804) was added last week. The smaller size (43 mm), ardoise dial with extra detail and refinement, the 89365 column wheel/vertical clutch/flyback calibre, and a bracelet with a micro-adjustment
Being that this is an IWC forum, I am uncertain as to whether or not to show any non-IWC additions. Since I see that others have, and we are all enthusiasts here; I will share my other addition.
2) BreguetClassique Automatic: (5177BR/29/9V6) was added last February. The traditional size, timeless elegance, grand feu enamel dial and the high tech (silicon escapement, Breguet overcoil, DLC coated barrel etc.), yet refined Breguet Calibre 777Q were the drivers.
I am looking forward to seeing what Schaffhausen has in store for us in 2013. Perhaps another IWC in my future?

Two for me in my inaugural IWC year. First the VC AT:
And then my favorite, the 5001. The Santoni joined soon afterward.
A very good year by my reckoning. 2013 promises to be good as well -- for all of us and for IWC. :)
Best regards,

David

Aquatimer 2000 Automatic IW3568-09 - Spitfire Chronograph IW3878-04
Then the boutique opened and I picked up the beauty
and my Laureus Portofino followed in time for our NYC GTG in April
Followed by this 3717 limited edition,
In late September, Patrick of the NYC Boutique was able to secure my DFB
Then as the year was winding down Patrick once again pulled a rabbit out of his hat and was able to secure a Vintage AT
As I said, it was a good year and I'm looking forward to 2013 and getting a jump start.
Happy New Year to each and thank you for your continued contributions to this great forum.
Kevin
